Sowsh is a small NFC tag placed on the back of your phone or anywhere that lets you instantly share your social media, music, payment platforms and contact info just by tapping your phone to a compatible smartphone! The other person doesn't need our app or a Sowsh to receive your info! The possibilities for Sowsh are limitless. Sowsh can be used by anyone in any industry to instantly share a customized, all in one social profile to people they meet. Sowsh uses Near-Field Communication (NFC) technology to allow it to communicate with other NFC enabled devices! As it's name suggests, NFC is a set of communication protocols for communication between two electronic devices over a distance of 4 cm (1​1⁄2 in) or less. Both devices must have a built in NFC chip embedded in order to communciate together. This is same technology used for Apple Pay at payment terminals. For iPhones: Place your Sowsh on the bottom of your phone. If you place it at the top, it will set off your phone's reader constantly! For most Androids: Place your Sowsh on the bottom as well. For Galaxies/Notes: Place your Sowsh at the top of your phone by your camera!

No! The other person does not need a Sowsh or our app to receive your Sowsh profile. That's the beauty of Sowsh! If their phone is on this list of compatible devices you can tap to their phone. If it is not, just use your Sowsh QR code on your profile to share!

No! Sowsh can be placed anywhere you want. You can put a Sowsh: - on your laptop - in your car - on a restaurant table - in your office - in an open house - the possibilities are endless! The Sowsh doesn't communicate to the phone it is on, it communicates to the phone it is sharing info to.

Yes you can! With the Sowsh app, you can activate as many Sowshes you want with the same account. Just log into the account you want to activate your Sowsh with and tap "Activate Sowsh"! We've had users put Sowsh on their laptop, in their cars, in their offices, etc.

Sowsh sticks nicely to all case materials except leather and some silicone. For these types of cases, we recommend either sticking the Sowsh underneath your case. (yes Sowsh works through most cases!) For all other cases including placing directly on the phone, Sowshis good to go!

iPhones as old as the iPhone 5S and almost all Androids can use their camera to scan your Sowsh QR code. Your Sowsh QR code can be found by tapping the QR code button on the bottom right of your profile. You can also share your profile via text, airdrop, email or any social network by sharing the link to your Sowsh profile.

Some Android phones have NFC turned off by default! If your Android is not reading Sowsh, go to your phone settings and search for "NFC". Then make sure you have this turned on!

Yes! Sowsh will work through 99.9% of phone cases, including ones that hold credit cards. The only exception would be if your case has a layer of metal.

No, Sowsh has no effect on your phone's wireless charging capabilities and will not interfere. Your wireless charging port can charge your phone right through Sowsh.
